Windows XP Registry Fix – Quick and easy solution that works for Vista too

When cleaning your computer, one of the most essential things to do is to clean the registry. For those who don’t know what that is (which surprisingly a lot of computer users do), it has to do with the programs stored on your computer.

When you install a program of any kind, registry entries containing data are created within that program.

As your computer ages, the log files it unintentionally leaves behind when you uninstall a program are left behind and eventually start to clog up your operating system. Every program under the sun will use the registry and when uninstalled, some programs on the system do not remove the data. So how your processor has a big problem and as a result various errors occur including critical system errors.

Even though you may have defragmented your computer from head to toe, you’ll still want to clean the registry. It is the wisest choice. I myself use windows vista and one day my system was slow and the music was skipping even when i moved the mouse! It turned out that my registry was clogged. Once I cleaned that up, the music was playing before I even turned it on. (Joking).

Good luck finding a good registry cleaner for Vista though; most of them are still for Windows XP (which many users still don’t want to give up; no doubt for good reason). A quick Google search should suffice. I wish you the best in your computer repair.
