The risks of being a loner at school

Recent research has shown that being lonely or engaging in antisocial behavior is similar to putting your health at risk. The researchers also found that an antisocial lifestyle leads to risky behaviors and addictions such as substance abuse, reckless driving, insanity, and sexual promiscuity, all of which can be detrimental to a person’s health. Schoolchildren are not averse to this disease. They are just as likely to get this disease as adults. Wiki defines a loner as a person who avoids or does not actively seek human interaction or prefers to be alone, causing them to feel depressed.

It has been found that, in most cases, a reclusive school child is the result of parents forcing the child to be shy and submissive. This causes him to be submissive in his interactions with his peers. Also, some parents force their children to be antisocial or lonely. They do this because they feel that their son can be pampered if he gets involved with her classmates. This can lead to the child becoming depressed and also violent towards the person who has prevented their social interaction with people their age.

There was a case study of a school boy who had a younger sister. His mother did not allow them to develop a relationship with each other, as that would result in them not obeying her commands. She wanted them to obey every command she gave them. She feared that their importance would be reduced if she let them play together or interact together. As if that were not enough, the father who was very orthodox believed that a male child should not socially interact with his female counterpart, since he did not believe in them being together.

Sometimes a parent’s behavior towards the child results in loss of self-confidence in their own abilities. In today’s world, where the “CRAB MENTALITY” prevails, such behavior of the parents towards the child could have detrimental effects on their upbringing. Furthermore, he will also become rebellious towards the parent who displays such behavior. It can also happen that when that father really needs it, he is not available to support the father. This can result in the father isolating himself from the child. These cases are not difficult to find. Invariably, the behavior of the parents tends to affect the child in many ways.

Children who go to school are very vulnerable to the phenomenon of becoming lonely. This is because there are many things that affect the upbringing of a child other than the behavior of his parents towards him. His relationship with his peers, which is the result of the former, is also elemental in him becoming a recluse. Sometimes these children tend to be bullied by stronger peers which makes them more skittish and lonely. This affects not only their performance in school, but also their relationships with their peers and their teachers.

Therefore, it is necessary for every child, whether male or female, to enjoy a healthy relationship with their peers so that they can grow up and form loving relationships with their parents and friends.
