The best way to quit smoking: replace hot peppers with cigarettes

Do you have trouble quitting? Have you been able to quit smoking cold turkey only to start the habit again in a matter of weeks? You have tried the patches and they have not helped. Maybe your mouth hurts from chewing gum. Even things far away like hypnotherapy have not worked. Well, I have the solution for you:

Replace cigarettes with Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Here are some of the benefits of this method:

A new source of endorphins

Remember how you felt after a great workout or the emotions you feel after a hot lovemaking session. That is your body’s reaction to the release of endorphins. Smoking is so addictive because those same endorphins are released when the brain responds to the nicotine found in cigarettes. Those same feelings of delight and euphoria can be created by eating hot peppers or a spicy spicy dish. Capsicum, which is the active chemical in hot peppers, is responsible for starting that same endorphin rush.

Saving money

Hot peppers come in all shapes and forms, from the habanero to the Thai chili to America’s favorite, the jalapeƱo pepper. They can be easily found all over the world for a fairly low price.

For the sake of arguments:

  • Let’s say the average cost of a pack of cigarettes is five dollars.
  • We’ll also say that you can buy a big bottle of hot sauce or a bag full of hot peppers for that same amount.
  • We’ll also make an aggressive assumption that it would take the average person a week to finish a bottle of hot sauce.
  • And we’ll make a modest assumption that someone smokes half a pack a day. That’s spending $260/year (=$5 x 52) on hot sauce. That’s spending $912.50/year (=$2.50 x 365 days) on cigarettes. So by substituting hot peppers for cigarettes, you would save: $652.5/year = ($912.50 – $260)

Imagine the mountains of money you would save if you smoked more than half a pack a day.

best tasting foods

Think about taking a cigarette and putting it in some bland food. Tastes better? Now imagine adding some chopped hot peppers to that very meal. Now how do you know? Overcoming smoking addiction is easy. When that urge to smoke a cigarette arises, just bite into a pepper!

One dish I recommend is Somtum, an extremely spicy and great tasting Thai green papaya salad called Somtum.
