By researching the internet and speaking with Education Queensland staff, I have become familiar with the following documents:

  1. I have a basic understanding of occupational health and safety, equal employment opportunity, and non-discrimination practices that apply in the workplace through previous employment and by reading information from the Division of Occupational Health and Safety Labor and relevant government departments. I understand that the Occupational Health and Safety Law imposes legal responsibility on both employers and employees in a workplace to ensure the health and safety of others. Employers are responsible for providing practical advice on identifying and managing workplace hazard exposure, while employees must follow organization policies and procedures for their safety and the safety of others. I follow all procedures related to proper manual handling techniques, hazard identification and reporting, and promotion of a safe workplace.
  2.
