KitchenAid Craft Stand Mixer

The KitchenAid Artsian Stand Mixer is one of the most popular large countertop mixers.

KitchenAid makes a professional range and a classic range, but for performance and price, the Artisan stands out.

If you’re looking for this type of stand mixer, then power is probably very high on your priority list. KitchenAid Artisan has 350 watts and can therefore blend large loads and heavy mixes with ease. The time and effort saved in the kitchen can be significant.

The Artisan Stand Mixer comes with three standard attachments:

  • A flat beater. This is a general purpose accessory that can be used for anything from battering to mixing the heaviest of ingredients.
  • A wire whisk for egg whites, mayonnaise, etc.
  • A dough hook for mixing and kneading dough.

The KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer has a unique mixing action. The beater moves clockwise while at the same time the shaft rotates counterclockwise. This allows the mixer to reach no less than 67 different points in the bowl and not be left with unmixed ingredients. It is not necessary to rotate the container.

The KitchenAid is very stylish.. A lot of heavy-duty stand mixers tend to look a bit “industrial.” The Artisan, on the other hand, looks very classy and will add elegance to any kitchen. Added to this is the fact that it is available in an incredible thirty different colors! This is really going to match any color scheme you may have.

There are many optional add-on accessories available for the KitchenAid mixer, making it even more useful and saving time. These include an ice cream maker, food grinder, and citrus juicer. The food grinder is very popular as it allows you to make your own sausages, burgers, etc. at home with meat that you know is of good quality. Homemade ice cream is, of course, much tastier than most supermarket brands and is very easy to make.
