Exploring Florida as a vacation destination

Many people have longed to visit Disney World in Orlando, Florida. This idea is great and can be fun for the whole family. However, there are more cities in the state of Florida, which have great excitement and fun that your family will enjoy too, such as Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Daytona, Space Coast and Saint Augustine.

We’ll start in Orlando just because it has the most famous family and personal attractions in all of Florida. Orlando not only has Disney World, but is home to Universal Studios. Universal Studios can take you behind the scenes of your favorite movie or TV show. It also has mechanical games and live shows; you can even watch a film crew in progress as they film.

In Tampa, Florida, there are attractions like Bush Gardens, Lowry Park Zoo, the Museum of Science and Industry, the Florida Aquarium, and much more. Bush Gardens is also home to adventure camping, Worlds of Discovery, Adventure Island, as well as Bush Gardens.

Then there’s Daytona, Florida, where every racing fan is familiar with the Daytona 500. However, there are also horse and dog races in Daytona. Daytona Beach is one of the most famous beaches in the world; and is home to Bike Week and Octoberfest. Daytona also features Adventure Landing Water Park where the family can have fun of all kinds.

Space Coast is just 35 miles east of Orlando, located just outside of Titusville, Florida; and is filled with sandy beaches, the Space Center that houses NASA, and the Kennedy Space Center. Here your family can visit the Space Museum and even have their photo taken in a space suit. Right outside the Space Center is Space Camp where children go to learn how astronauts train for their missions.

The last city to talk about is the oldest city in the United States, Saint Augustine, Florida. In St. Augustine, you can walk down St. George Street to see some of the oldest buildings in the old world. In fact, there are many old buildings located throughout the city. The family can see old forts, gazebos and shops that look almost like back then. Like most cities, you can take a romantic carriage ride through the city. You can also visit Ripley’s Believe It Or Not museum.

Miami, Florida offers excellent cruises around the bay, as well as other activities. You can take a trip through the Everglades and visit Jungle Island or Gator Park. There are a variety of wildlife shows and airboat rides. You can rent a boat and take a saltwater fishing trip or freshwater (brackishwater) fishing in the Everglades. You can take a relaxing day on one of the beaches in the area.

No matter which Florida city you choose for your vacation, you can always find cruises to take; Whether your cruise is for sightseeing or saltwater fishing, you’ll have an unforgettable vacation experience. You can also learn to sail, or just take a trip in the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
