Be someone no one thought you could be

When you want to be someone you thought you could be, you must be inspired by the successes of others. But many people feel envy or jealous, even bitter towards successful people. However, through sheer determination, you can create a life full of accomplishments.

Would you choose to create success for yourself or let envy define it for you? How can you move forward to become a successful you? Is someone else’s success making you envious? Are you ready to make things happen in your life?

We all feel the need to show the world that we can become the person we want to be and fulfill our dreams. But first, to do this, you have to believe that you can be someone at any time. You just have to make up your mind to do it with hard work, persistence, determination and conviction.

Age is and can never be a barrier! When other people think you couldn’t be somebody, you have to make their perception wrong. You need to push yourself to the limit, proving that you have what it takes to do whatever you choose to do.

So when someone achieves a goal, is successful, is praised, or makes a lot of money, they have the choice of becoming bitter or inspired by their achievements.

Get inspired instead of being jealous
Growing up in the former Soviet Union, he was an athlete who participated in competitions such as show jumping and horse racing. You have to learn fast, that to be someone, you have to copy, study and acquire the skills to beat the best.

You have to practice, train, and push yourself to overcome the barriers in your path, keep going after failures arise, and resist any fears and doubts you may have. It’s hard when you’re always comparing yourself to others, but even harder when your coach compares you to someone else and critiques everything you do.

When you look at it though, it’s how life is. It doesn’t matter what world you live in! You are always in competition with other people because you relate to someone else and what they have accomplished.

However, to be someone no one thought you could be, you have to look in the mirror and see that your only competition is you. Therefore, you have to learn to turn the successes of others to your advantage and let them be an inspiration instead of a threat and intimidation.

In school, I was never the smartest in the room, unless it was in biology class. I was pretty quiet and bright, but never the smartest. I left standard school at the age of fourteen because I knew what I wanted to do with my life. I was going to be an athlete ever since I started horseback riding at the tender age of three.

Therefore, many people were against my decision, and some of them even expected me to fail. So I let that hate motivate me to be somebody. I was going to push myself and fight for what I wanted. And so I was successful in most of the things I undertook over the years.

So, you have to put yourself out there and take a risk. Your dreams can come true if you believe beyond the shadow of a doubt and work without ever giving up. It doesn’t matter if it’s something you’ve wanted for years; it can finally become yours, even when others try to bring you down.

Be someone no one thought you could be
I was often told that I would hit a significant zero because I dropped out of formal education and started traveling. I still had some education between competitions, and I read a lot. What hurt me the most was when I found out that most of the people I called family and friends were laughing and doubting my success.

I even questioned myself. Could I ever be someone? Maybe I’m not as smart as I think I am. Doubt and fear had entered my mind, and I didn’t like the feeling. So, I decided to turn the odds in my favor.

You need to make it clear in your mind that your success is being negatively judged and predicted by other people, and that is just their opinion of you, not yours.

So in order to prove people wrong and be someone, you have to work hard and prove yourself good enough. You could be early for work, for example. In all the jobs I’ve had, I always arrived 1 hour before my shift started, often before the supervisors arrived.

I went in just to better prepare, memorize or learn things, read what I missed on the days I wasn’t around, and make sure I had an edge on the best. You have to believe and want to be the best at what you are doing.

To be someone, you need to want to succeed one hundred percent.

The journey to be someone
My journey in life led me to become an entrepreneur. It changed my perspective regarding which path I should consider taking. Success is never an easy path because you always face obstacles and failure.

You will face countless losses along the way, but the thought of being someone no one thought you could be acts as fuel to light the fire.

Another valuable piece of advice I could give you is to surround yourself with confident and ambitious people, and you will become like them. When you want to be someone, you have to work hard and be persistent, day after day. You can call it madness or obsession, but I call it determination.

You only fail when you give up! You may feel that there is no way around an obstacle, barrier, or wall on your journey to be somebody, but all things in life are at risk. Without action, there is no change and it always seems impossible until someone else does it. Wouldn’t you think instead that it could be you?

So yeah, just like me, you may not be the smartest of the bunch, but you can make sure you’re the hardest working one in the room. If you want to be someone, success must be something you take seriously. And don’t let anyone’s pessimistic view of your future success get you down.

As a result, to be as successful as any other entrepreneur, you must be motivated by your successes. You must challenge those who oppose you or believe what you can and cannot do. Be someone no one thought you could be. And the next time you see someone succeed, let them inspire you to do the same.
