No wind, no rain, but

Something new and strange is about to happen to you! Those who will survive the current global distress and chaos are those who will boldly walk in God’s word by faith. They will be ready to act and obey even when they see no physical reason to do so. They will move at your command when there is no sign or manifestation to rely on. Yes, God uses signs and manifestations to guide or demonstrate his sovereignty, but sometimes you also see him moving without them. He is not tied to signs. You are not tied to patterns, methods, time, events, history, opinions, and places. He is only eternally bound by his words and his character. He does what he wants at any time, like and anywhere. He can visit you without any prior sign. He just believes and obeys what he is now reading and he will see those things happen. Listen now: Thus says the LORD: This dry valley will be filled with pools of water! They will not see wind or rain, says the LORD, but this valley will be filled with water. you and your cattle and other animals”. 2 Kings 3:16-17. Did you hear that? Are you sure? You will not see any signs, but miracles must come. That valley (need) in your life will be filled with fresh water (blessings) for you and you will also have an excess to distribute to others.

You know this story very well. These troops from Israel and Judah were going to war and came to a point in the desert where there was no water for them or their animals: horses and camels. They were getting dehydrated and desperate. And without an immediate solution, they would all perish or be easily overrun by enemies. Without water, without help and without a solution. Not even a faint sign that it would drizzle tonight to at least give them hope. OMG! Extreme hopelessness! Are you going through the same situation right now? It is as if you are going to perish in this and, what is worse, there is not a glimmer of hope to endure. You know sometimes it gets so bad, but you still manage to hold on to something or a promise, even if it’s not very secure. But there was nothing they could hold on to. They were completely stranded in the middle of that dry and dusty desert. They couldn’t advance, they couldn’t retreat, and they weren’t sure what would happen next. In the midst of that confusion, the Lord spoke through his servant and assured them that he would bring them an immediate but dramatic and unprecedented solution. And what was it? Although there was going to be no rain, no wind, and no movement in the clouds, they would soon have more than enough water to drink and feed their animals. And not only that, they will finally go ahead to defeat their enemies. Victory! Here, we are not just talking about solving your current challenges, but God will make you a total overcomer. There is no water, it does not rain, but the water will flow!

But why did God choose wind and rain when he spoke through his prophet? The wind plays a key role in irrigating the land. With the help of the sun, it ensures evaporation, the collection of seawater into the clouds, and also helps to lower it. The strength and direction of the wind also dictates the direction and intensity of the rain in a place. So naturally, for the Israelites to have hope of miraculous water in that desert, there would at least have to be some form of movement in the clouds. The water must come from the rain and the rain with the wind. But there was going to be none of that. And no rain means no water to drink. And not drinking water will result in total dehydration and imminent death. And his death will be an automatic victory for his enemies! God knew all this and how desperate the situation was and yet he said he would bypass all known natural weather processes and forecasts to provide them with water. After all, he made and controls the wind, rain, and water. Now, he too will bypass all the protocols to serve you. He will disregard all human, natural and economic calculations and expectations to answer his prayers in Jesus name! But you must also prepare. They must make room to receive the miracle. They must dig ditches (trenches) to contain, collect the water when it finally arrives. Go and get ready. His obedience, disposition and wisdom are also necessary in this process of liberation that comes to them. I hope you’re getting it? Insurance?? If they did not obey their prophet and dig the trenches, they would still have perished because the miracle would have been wasted. Get ready for your delivery to approach. Put on your dancing shoes. Yes, you have to come! They achieved the miracle and also defeated their enemies.
