Is the plain truth too strong?

Recently, someone who called himself “Refiner’s Fire” (ironically) condemned my writing style as a stumbling block:

Did you plant the seed of “truth” in this person, or did you drive it away with your words? Yes, I know people need to hear the “truth”, but how can they if their writing style is sticking them in the head with a 2×4?

Have you never read where Paul, like Yeshua, must have offended some? “Have I then become your enemy because I tell you the truth?” (Galatians 4:16).

There are many others who write in a softer style. That is your prerogative. I’m not speaking against your approach, since the Bible basically teaches “different punches for different people.” After all, tough love is tough love.

Have you never read where Yeshua spoke of how some will make up any excuse under the sun regardless of the effort to reach them, whether we dance for them or lament?

Luke 7:31-35

31″To what then can I compare the people of this generation? What are they like? 32They are like children sitting in the market and calling to one another:

“‘We played the flute for you,

and you didn’t dance;

we sing a funeral song,

and you didn’t cry.’ 33Because John the Baptist came who neither ate bread nor drank wine, and you say: He has a devil. 34The Son of Man came, eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and “sinners.” 35 But wisdom proves herself righteous for all her children.

If someone is of God, or is being called of God, he can get angry like Herbert W. Armstrong did with his wife with his seventh-day Sabbath “fanaticism,” angry enough to check it out, which he did, and then he saw that She was right! And she was humble enough to admit it and submit to it and turn from pagan Sunday to Holy Saturday.

My responsibility is to share the plain truth of the Bible as God has given me to understand it. How people respond to the plain truth is not my responsibility. It is between God and them. Having said that, I believe that the time for “soft-spoken” ministers is over, and that we need more refining fire ministers (that the embers do not go out) or refining fire servants of God (not dying embers) willing to overturn some tables and kick over some chairs and drive some men and animals out of the Temple courts with whip in hand, turning heads and raising eyebrows, as necessary.

The Two Witnesses of Revelation 11 will certainly not speak in pretty platitudes and the whole world will hate them and wish them dead! Those who simply want to hear smooth things will continue to hear smooth things from their false prophets and lying ministers.

Isaiah 30:9-11

9 This is a rebellious people, deceitful children [1 John 2:4],

children who do not want to listen to the instruction of the LORD.

10 They say to the seers:

“See no more visions!”

and to the prophets,

“Give us no more visions than is right!

Tell us nice things

prophetic illusions.

11 Go this way,

get out of this way,

and stop confronting us

with the Holy One of Israel!”[by replacing him with a Gentilized Jesus, a counterfeit gospel and a different spirit]

2 Timothy 4:3-4

3For the time will come when men will not endure sound doctrine. Instead, to follow their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their eager ears want to hear. 4 They will turn away their ears from the truth and turn to fables [like Christmas and Easter].

Since our countries are incurring the wrath of God, and will soon suffer divine punishment for our pagan holidays like Christmas pretending to be Christian, part of our national idolatry and immorality that we must confess and abandon to avoid a nuclear holocaust, it is time to love and obey God and:

Isaiah 58

1 Cry loudly, don’t stop; raise your voice like a trumpet; Tell my people their transgression [the Church and Synagogue]and the house of Jacob [the family of Israelite nations – all Twelve Tribes of Israel] their sins 2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that does justice, and does not forsake the ordinance of its God. They ask me for ordinances of justice; They delight in drawing near to God.

People who continue in their pagan ways and hollow days will be left without excuse. God will not accept the lame excuse, “Well, we don’t appreciate the way people like David Ben-Ariel showed up.” God will simply say, “Why didn’t you go like the Berean nobles and see if these things were so and act accordingly?”

Acts 17:11

11 Now the Bereans were of a nobler character than the Thessalonians, because they received the message with great enthusiasm and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

Enough apologies!

Revelation 3:19

I rebuke and punish all whom I love. So be jealous and to regret.
