Getting good grades: what this means to you

Getting good grades means a lot more than just getting good grades. Most people would like their grades to be better, why? There are many reasons for this, more than could be listed, as they are quite unique to each individual. Let’s go through just a few and see if we can figure out what it means.

Some reasons may be:
-Just do better in school.
-To improve your best
-To get into a better school
-To look smarter in front of your docks
-His parents
-your teachers etc.

Obviously, these are just a few simple reasons why you would try harder in school. The list could go on forever, as each person is an individual, but there are usually common reasons. You just have to decide what is most important to you.

A lot of times it’s hard to do as well as you could or should because you’re trying to make other people happy or live up to other people’s expectations. While this can be bad, it can also provide you with the motivation to do much better. With grades most of the time motivation doesn’t matter as long as you get the desired result. If you get the desired result, then most likely it paid off, as well as the fact that you have learned something, and perhaps you have learned a new or better way of studying.

I think the most important thing this can mean to you is the fact that you know you can do your best. Build confidence in your study. Other people see it and reward you. I’m not talking about physical rewards, but many other, more important rewards. People may say that you are serious about your studies, so they assume that you are serious about your life. This leads to entering a better school, better job, better personal relationships, etc. All far more important than just a higher GPA.

Getting better grades prepares you for a better life. There’s no reason not to at least try.
